Fastheld - A tall man - at least eight or nine feet tall by some accounts - emerged from the mysterious rift at the center of Lightholder Crossroads today. Witnesses say the stranger had unusually long fingers, gray eyes, and a faint blue glow. They say he did not know the common language of Fastheld at first, but learned it within seconds after his arrival. He spoke briefly with soldiers guarding the rift and then disappeared into the wilderness. The soldiers did nothing to stop his apparent escape.
